  • Mounted Aileron Cable Duct with Adel Clamps
  • Cut Duct Bend to correct length and deburred
  • Inboard End of Duct needs to be affixed to Rib Brace probably using Silicone Tape and wide Zip-Ties cushioned with shrink tubing

  • Installed lower Half Rib that was removed previously
  • Cut and shaped upper Drag Strut Gusset
  • Cut to length and deburred edges and corners
  • Drilled and deburred holes on upper Drag Strut Gusset
  • Riveted Gusset in Place (7 Rivets, 1/2" spacing)

  • Sanded Tube Stub to fit
  • Slid outer Drag Strut Tube onto Stub on Root Rib using Corrosion Protectant and Lubricant
  • Started lower Gusset with Clecos
  • Updrilled and deburred lower Gusset Wing Spar Side and Drag Strut Side
  • Permanently installed Gusset

  • Removed lower half rib for gusset
  • Identified and fitted correct Drag Strut Braces
  • Determined Gusset Position
  • Affixed Drag Strut with one 1/8" x 1/4" Rivet
  • Short Stub Tube on Root Rib needs a little tweaking, angle is not correct (from welding)

  • Spar-side is being bent over 2x4 in very small steps instead of using tube bender
  • Camber is being shaped on the wing (not riveted) after the Full Ribs
